Hi CHS Grads,

I'm looking for Susan Benton, Class of 74. If anyone knows how to get in touch with her or knows where she is, please let me know. We lost touch 35 years ago and were good friends at City.

Hope everyone is doing well and wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving

That is so sweet and true Johnny. Lost my Mother at 26 and Dad at 33! Too young. You never quit missing them   I have fond memories of you. We double dated a couple of times and you were always so cute and sweet. You have a brother, too, that was at City I think. So sorry for your great loss of your parents. Hope life has been good otherwise.  Alice Clevenger Cooper

Kenneth Cox (1969)

John,

If you haven't already, register with Classmates.com, associating yourself with CHS. You will find all past and present reunions scheduled for the different classes. There is one multi-class reunion currently scheduled for September. Although everyone from those classes is invited, it appears to be primarily for the band members and cheerleaders/flag waivers of those classes.

Buck Buchanan (Buchanan) (1971)

I have written a book about the 1970 City High football. The name of the book is: "First and Thirty".

The book goes back 45 years, the City High football team did something that no other City team had done in 30 years.  As we recall the football season, we also walk down the halls once more. The commons is the central meeting place. Coach Phifer is the principal, Mrs. Johnson teaches English and Miss Pryor enforces social correctness. There are the high school romances and the weekend parties. The basketball games and baseball at Engle stadium add to the memories. There was social unrest in the country. All of this and more will part of the story of the Bobby Davis’ 1970 Dynamos.

Deborah, thank you.  I hope you have a wonderful Turkey day yourself.

I'm really looking forward to this one.  My 94 year old Mom and all my bothers & sister will be together this year for the 1st  time here in Texas.  This will be the 1st time that Thanksgiving is not being celebrated in Chattanooga, my mother has moved in with my brother in Huntsville AL and our old home in Chattanooga was sold this year.
