Jerry Gladson, 62, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 in a Spencer, TN health care facility.
He was a member of Christ Unity Church in Chattanooga. He held a B.S. and Masters Degree in Family Counseling from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was an accomplished singer and guitar player who was involved in several local bands. He was retired from Provident.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James L. Gladson and Kathleen Ikard Gladson.
Survivors include his brother, Jim Gladson of Chattanooga; one nephew; and one great-nephew.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 25, in Fort Hill Cemetery.
The family will depart Fike Funeral Home on Monday, March 25 at 2:30 p.m. in procession to the cemetery.
My dear friend, Jerry. He traveled in our pack of friends just out of high school -- Garry Tucker, Steve Sharp, and Lynda Akridge from City, and from other schools Caroline and Jeanie Goble, and Dan Carrol. Everyone loved him.
