Tribute

Judy Maynor, 72, of Ringgold, GA went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2024.  She was born in Americus, Georgia, graduated from City High in Chattanooga and lived in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area for the remained of her life.

Judy worked for several businesses throughout her career.  She has worked for Combustion Engineering, Gilman Paint Credit Union, Rock-Tenn Credit Union, River City Credit Union and Trust Credit Union. She was a member of South Rossville Baptist Church for over 40 years. Judy loved her husband and daughters and was always there for them.  She was a hard worker but loved to travel and was an avid reader of crime and spy books.  Judy also loved her time with her grandchildren whether it was getting their nails done together or at a ballfield cheering them on.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Ernestine Winters; a stepson, Tim Maynor and several aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, M.L. Maynor; daughters, Stephanie (Neal) Harvey, Melanie Maynor and Emily (Todd) Sturdivant; grandchildren, Luke and Erin Harvey, Emma, Jackson and Everly Sturdivant; and one brother, Lee (Connie) Winters; several cousins and other extended family members.

A chapel service will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:00am with Pastor Eddie Rushing officiating. Interment will follow at TN-GA Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 5:00 – 8:00pm.
