Raymond Harry Radford of Anchorage, KY passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Baptist East
Hospital. Ray was born on December 16th, 1947 in Vicksburg, MS to Mary (Fletcher) Radford and John
Raymond Radford. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Maj. John Radford USAF (ret).
Ray graduated from Austin Pay University before being drafted to the US Army to serve in the Vietnam
conflict, where he was stationed in Bangkok, Thailand. Ray retired from Doe Anderson Advertising as VP of
Channel Marketing after travelling globally in support of Maker's Mark Bourbon, helping to create one of the
world's most iconic brands,
Ray met and married the love of his life Connie (Hostettler) Radford and was the loving father to three
daughters, Emily Reid (Britt), Mary Hannah Radford, and Polly Radford. He was a loving grandfather to
Olivia Rae (21), Britton (15) and Lucien (13). He is survived by two brothers, Jeffrey Radford and Dr. Michael
Radford; and a host of relatives and friends.
Ray touched many lives as a loving brother, husband and father, also as a mentor and good friend.
A wake will be held at Selena's at Willow Lake Tavern, 10609 La Grange Rd, Louisville, KY 40223, on Friday,
December 10th from 3 - 6 pm.

Backside Learning Center, 3131 S 2nd St #389, Louisville, KY 40208.

Billy Johnson (1964)

Sorry to hear of the passing of Ray Radford.  I really liked him in school was was separated after school and never had the pleasure of being around him since.  Again my sincere condolences to his family,  Billy Johnson, CHS  class of 1964.
