I didn't know Sue Jones personally that well, but remember her as always being a friendly and gracious person all through our three years at City. Saddened to learn of her passing.

I am extremely sad to read that Sue had passed away.  I have know her since the first grade at Normal Park then Northside and City.  In high school became real close while in the youth group at church. While in high school and after kept close because of her and Steve Sallee's relationship and eventual marriage which I was honored to be in as a close friend of her and Steve.  Was sad to find out that the marriage did not last.  But happy to find out that she found another person to spend the rest of her life with.  Also it was great to see that she spent most of her life in teaching, following her mom profession, who also was my first and second grade teacher.   She was a quiet but loving person when I knew her.  And it is so sad that both her and Steve's life were cut way too short.   Sad that we lost touch over the years but happy that she seemed to find happyness and love in her life.

I am so sorry to hear about Sue's passing. I have so many special memories with her. We both took dance lessons at Margaret Howell's through the 9th grade with Jerry Poe and Robert Cramer. In high school, we double dated often with Jerry and Steve. I used to spend the night at her house on weekends. I was never a late sleeper, so I used to get up early and join her Mom in the kitchen until Sue got up. I loved her mother. We would go trick or treating for UNICEF when we were in junior high. Many weekends our parents would drop us off downtown on Saturdays. We would be all dressed up to go watch a movie, have lunch and go shopping. So many things we don't think about until we learn of the death of a classmate. Thank you, Sue, for so many wonderful memories.

My deepest condolences to Mary Sue 's family. She and I were in the same homeroom for 3 years. She was such a sweet girl, always had a smile. She will be missed.

I'm sad to hear of Sue's passing. She was always so kind, and a friend to everyone. We both went to Normal Park and on up through City. She had such a bright smile and gentle soul. Rest well dear Sue.
