I am so sad to hear of the loss of my dear friend Kathryn.  We had just started getting together again and were looking forward to many fun times in retirement.  She left this world near her beloved horses and at peace.   We will all miss her so much.  So long gal.

Yes I remember Kathy as a member of the band playing flute.  I remember her dad carpooling us to band competitions in junior high school.  She was a really nice person and was hoping I might be able to see her again, but is not to be.  Sorry for her loss.

I’m so sad to hear of Kathy’s death. We shared classes together. And the times on the practice field with the marching band and drill squad were treasures. We never know when we will be taken from this world. Live every day to the fullest. Rest feat the Lord, dear Kathy.

KATHY WAS A GOOD FRIEND IN SCHOOL.  LOST TRACK OF HER AFTERWARDS.  WE WENT OUT A FEW  TIMES.  MARCHED IN THE BAND TOGETHER.  EVEN WENT TO A HOUSE PARTY TOGETHER.  I CAN SEE HER FACE EVEN NOW  -- ALWAYS WITH A SMILE !!!  HER NAME BRINGS BACK FOND MEMORIES !  BUT --  THE REASON FOR HER NAME BEING BROUGHT UP  --  BRINGS A LOAD OF SADNESS !!!  I AM VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF HER DEPARTURE OF THIS WORLD.  MY HEART AND CONDOLENCES GO OUT TO HER FAMILY !!!  REST IN PEACE KATHY !! YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART AND MEMORIES !       jp

While Kathy was known for her prowess on the flute, I remember her as my Amaryllis in the Music Man.  She was always so cheerful and sweet to be around.  I'm sure she stayed the same throughout her life.  She will be missed.  Much love to her and her family.

Kathy and I were great friends at CHS, where we became acquainted in 1968 as flute players in the band. We kept in touch all these years, at first through letter writing (snail mail now a thing of the past!) and eventually through texts, phone calls and Facebook. I visited her and her husband Art a few times, most recently in September 2018 at their cabin in North Carolina. She was beautiful throughout all those 50 years that I knew her - creative, artistic, fun-loving, adventurous - never letting the harshest of challenges defeat her indomitable spirit and love of life. She was a source of inspiration for me and a most treasured friend. I cannot yet accept that I will never see Kathy's joyous smile again.
