David and I were friends from elementry school on. We lost touch after high school for the most part but I did see him off and on. He got me interested in motorcycles during high school, We would read motorcycle magazines during class when we should have been doing something else. Motorcycles were much more interesting. He had a wreck and stopped riding about the time I started, I never stopped however. In any case I guess he is partly if not mostly responsible for my love of motorcycles, which I continue riding to this day. David was a good guy, we had a lot of good times together. His parents were really great and always welcomed me into their home. While I haven't seen David for a number of years now, I will miss him.
