Thanks to Class of '66 alum Michael Haggard I was able to recover my long lost CHS class ring. I lost the ring shortly after graduation 55 years ago! I suppose the ancients were right, time does fly it seems. The good news is the ring still looks pristine even after years being buried in the soil or lake floor somewhere, the bad news is that I've put on a few pounds since then and now I can barely get it on my little finger. Despite it's small size it brought back a huge flood of memories from my time at City. Thanks again Michael and all the best to my CHS classmates.

Jimmy was my best friend from the time we met at Normal Park Elementary throughout Northside Junior High and City High School. As all of his fellow classmates know, Jimmy was one of the friendliest, kindest and smartest boys in our class.  Reading about his death saddens me greatly but I will always remember the fun times we had together.  Rest in peace my friend.
