Leonard (Butch) Latham, Jr. (1966)
Anna was a great friend. We had lots of fun years growing up together. Although we didn't see each other very often, she will be missed and remembered always.John (Craig) Collier (1966)
I had known Anna from the first or second grade at Rivermont Elementry. She changed schools and I lost touch with her until 1963, our sophmore year at CHS. I remeber her mother would bring Anna and the rest of her family to Hamilton County Park (now Chester Frost Park) where I worked as a lifeguard during the summer and would always pack some of the most awsome fried chicken. Anna and I worked on the 20th and 25th reunion together. She always had a big smile and friendly word for everyone and I was totally shocked to hear about her untimely passing. Even tho I have not seen her in a few years every time I go to CFP I think about her and her mother's chicken. Sleep well my friend.Beth George (Hightower) (1968)
Anna Watson was one of the funniest clowns I ever met! She always had something clever to say about even the most disgusting parts of the experiments we had to do in Biology together. I often wondered if she ever tried to do "stand up" as she was clever and quick-witted enough to give the professional comics a challenge. I am saddened to hear about her passing. Anna, rest in peace.Phyllis Jean Neal (1966)
I first met Anna Marie when her uncle, Bobby Hoppe, & my daddy's nephews played football together at Central High School in Highland Park. We would play together under the stands in the dirt during practice.
We renewed our friendship when I enrolled in Normal Park in the fifth grade. We stayed friends until she passed away. I shall always miss her.
