Michael was a humorous, wonderful, and kind person. Also a good artist. His loving spirit is missed!

MIke was my best friend (we ran track together). Upon arriving at UT he became one of the first tye dyed hippies of the 60's. Love ya man!

When I first realized Mike was gone I was somewhat taken back and at a loss for words. I had no idea he had passed until last week. Quite a loss for all concerned as he was one hell of a guy. We shared many good times together in high school as well as college and spent countless hours discussing the meaning of life and where were going with it. I remember coming home from Vietnam and going to Knoxville to look him up and lo and behold what did I find! It was Mr. Woodstock, tye dyed shirts, long hair, macramé everywhere and even a little weed. Being a skin headed Marine I was a little bewildered and somehow figured I had missed an era. I vowed right then and there that when I got out of the Corps I was going to make up for lost time and jump right in. Of course I never did. I saw MIke at our first reunion along with his sweetie Linda Wallace (Zepher) and never laid eyes on him again. Good bye old buddy and I'll sse ya when I get there.

Pete
