Dennis was one of my favorite classmates back in the day. He was a fun guy: witty, intelligent, and kind.. and he played a hellof a baritone sax! I will aleways fondly remember the Squid. RIP brother.

Dennis and I have been best friends since we were five years old. Dennis, Rimmy Miller and I learned to play the clarinet and saxaphone at the same time under the supervision of Rimmy's Father, Ralph Miller. Memories of concerts, band trips and just "hangin' out" will stay with me forever. Dennis never failed to send me a hand written Birthday and Christmas card. I will always miss him. Go with God my friend.

Fair seas and following winds El Squid.  Tip a Famous Grouse or three for me.  Your sense of honor and sense of humor will be  missed.

It’s very difficult to put into words how much I will miss Dennis. After a period of time not hearing from him it was great to be able to connect with him and others through the Dynamos. I’ve known Dennis since  grade at Northside. Our love for band and the saxophone bonded us immediately. The only friend I’ve known longer is Bogie and I’ve know him since I was four years old. He and Dennis and I played together in the saxophone section for four years and made many great memories. But the thing I will miss most is reading something or hearing a tune and sending it to him through the Dynamos google group. I’ve started to do that several times and had to stop myself. Thanks Dennis for your friendship you are and will be truly missed.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Dennis while we were at City but I have gotten to know him well through post on Dynamos. I have learned to appreciate his wit, humor, insights and love for the Dynamos and America. Since he has been gone I have read something and thought about posting it to get his reactions. Sometimes I would post something to goat him into a reaction. His reactions sometimes  surprised me but I always respected what his beliefs were. I have and will miss him immensely. You certainly knew where he stood on issues. Hope to see him in the next life.
