I met Robert in Martinsville, VA when I visited a friend who had moved there. He was the most unique person I had ever met. His family moved to Chatt. the following fall and we continued our friendship. He always held a special place in my heart. He dated my best friend and we often double dated. Could that boy dance! He died in a fire in either 1972 or 1973 in North Chattanooga. Even though his last couple of years saw him make some really bad choices I will always think fondly of him and have happy memories.
