Steve was one of my best friends after graduation. We went to church together at Central Church of Christ, along with his family and Debbie's family. We became close friends when I was at UTC. Although younger than me we had a lot of things in common....duck hunting, dove hunting, trout fishing, and some things that I can't discuss here :-)
Steve went on to medical school in Memphis, and graduated in the top of his class. Unfortuately, cancer took him away from us. He was like a brother to me, and I will always have fond memories of him. His wife JoAnn and son live in Chattanooga.
