Sandy you were a real sweet kid. You had just gotten Married and your whole life in front of you when you got hit by a drunk who took your life. Your dreams cut short. Sadly missed Marty Kissinger Fahm

Sandy, you were a dear friend. A super fun person and so talented. You and Ann & I had some great times together. It was devastating to lose you. I will always miss you!
Love, Connie

SANDY,
EVERY TIME I SEE A VOLKSWAGON BUG, I THINK OF YOU. I HEARD THE CRASH FROM MY PARENTS HOME IN STUART HEIGHTS. I COULD NOT BELIEVE I KNEW THE PERSON KILLED BY THE DRUNK DRIVER. I WILL ALSO NEVER FORGET THE HARASSMENT YOU RECEIVED BY OUR 12TH GRADE ENGLISH TEACHER, MRS BETTIS.

I noted that Sandy's date of decease was not listed . . . it was around the time of the '73 flood, but not as a cause of it. Thought I would leave a note on this.

Sandy and her family lived across the street from my family's house.

Chris, you are correct, it was at the time of the flooding which was March of 1973.

That was the jog my memory needed.
