John Summers (1970)

Not only did I go to Northside Baptist Church with Kim, as did Jerry and Ricky Poe and Rachel Dean, where Kim and I sang in the Youth Choir together, I also went to Normal Park, Northside Jr. and City together for a total of twelve years.

He was often quite, but always nice to everyone.

And of course, with alphabetically grouped homerooms, Kim and I were always in one together.

We didn't know each other that well, but he was always pleasant if as Summers said generally quiet.

We're old enough to know rather too intimately that nobody gets out of this life alive, but I'm sorry to see Kim go.

My sincere condolences to all who are his.

Doug Eckert (Eckert) (1970)

One of my earliest friends.

I hope there is love, drama, music and laughter wherever he is now. If not he will bring it.
