I didn't know Beverly very well but, she did date my brother Roddy for a good while in high school. I always thought how pretty and sweet she was. She also had to be a good sport because on one of their first dates Roddy wanted to take me with them. So we went to the Dairy Queen for a ice cream and I was in the back seat with my head hanging over the front seat between them. Asking her all kinds of things and really bugging them. Roddy didn't care he thought it was funny. Most big brothers would have thought I was the little brat sister but not Roddy. After that they dated for a long time. She have to have been very special to put up with that. So I know that she will be missed.

I've known Beverly since at least third grade, I guess. She taught me how to call people up and ask if their refrigerator was running (You'd better go after it!), or to call a store and ask if they had Prince Albert in a can (Let him out!). She had great birthday parties, too, since she was born on Halloween. I think my first girl-boy party was at her house!
Beverly was a wonderful person who was tragically stolen from us by cancer. I believe it was breast cancer, but I'm not sure. She was way too young to leave this world, and I will always count myself lucky to have known her while she was in it.

WOW: Will this wonderful person be missed, I was a year younger than she was but we lived so close to one another id seee her all the time, we became very good friends, This girl would bend over backwards to do any thing for you. She had one of the warmest smiles id ever seen and that funny sence of hummor. Im sure she is being missed by lots of people and I for one will keep her in my prayers for ever.

How sad that cancer took Beverly. She played on the basketball A team & I was on the B team. She was always so nice to me & fun to be with. I am glad I knew her & hope her friends & family find comfort in happy memories of her. She was a good basketball player!
