Brick and I emailed a few times recently.   I was delighted to learn more about him, after many decades. He filled his messages with sweetness, I hadn't known that he was a very social person, always extending invitations to spend time on the water...which he loved.   He gave some unexpected grace to my life.  Goodbye Brick.  I will miss the warmth and friendship.

So sorry to hear of Brick's passing,  I recall when the Abrams moved up on Signal Mountain.  - Brick and I actually tried to start a band (Louie Louie) - needless to say it did not succeded.  Played footbal with Brick and broether Don through high school.  Both good men - Saddened to hear of his passing - another Brother in Arms  - Godspeed Sir

Brick ………for me, you were the one that got away.  I will always remember you ~ your smile and the handsome man you were.  So many friends will miss you too.  I’m sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye but I will see you again some day ~ at a different time, in a different place.  Until then, my friend, I’ll be looking forward to it and thinking about your sweet smile.  God bless you, Brick. You were loved.

Sorry to hear of his passing.  Spent some time with him at our 50th reunion and he seemed to be enjoying Nashville.  He talked about his enjoyment on the lake and boating.  Like Pete James, I remember his family moving to Signal Mountain in Junior High I think.  He and his brother Don were the cool, new kids in town.  He ran track at City and was a welcome addition to our team.  He always seemed to enjoy life to the fullest.  Sad to see another classmate leave us but I guess none of us are getting any younger are we?
